When creating and running your own business, there is an endless list of what is vital to your success. On top of that, the list is constantly changing as society makes technological advances, the needs of clients’ change, and as you grow and define your niche. One thing that has remained consistent throughout the years is business cards. So when Basic Invite reached out to me about designing business cards for Laughing Heart Photography, I could not wait to get started.
Basic Invite is a Utah based printing company that specializes in custom invitations, cards, announcements, stationary, and of course, business cards. This company is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. They are also one of the few websites that allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual product so they can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality before they ever have to place their final order.
What I loved about Basic Invite was that they allow you to upload your own design. Once we had chosen our business card style, Jason and I created exactly what we wanted our business card to look like in Adobe Illustrator and then just easily uploaded it to the template. But you don’t have to be a designer to be able to create a one of a kind business card. These templates also allow you to just upload your company’s logo no problem. And with so many unique choices, you don’t even have to create your own.
For example, Basic Invite’s clear business cards are a great way to make your business stand out. Although I knew I wanted business cards with our logo, I thought why not get a handful of some clear business cards to share with special clients or at unique events. The Brushstroke Hello Clear allowed us to fit all the necessary information and still come out amazing.
So if you’re getting married, hosting a party, starting a business, sending out thank you letters or getting a head start on your holiday cards (use HOLI30 for 30% off), you should definitely check out Basic Invite. And until the end of the month, you can use code 15FF51 for 15% off your order.
